If you missed out on Let's Go's wine country ride, the Cycling Committee is here to help. Join us for a beautiful ride starting in Los Olivos on Sunday May 31st. Arrive early for a caffeine fix at Lefy's before the ride, or grab an espresso at Pony in Santa Ynez while we regroup there a bit later.
The second part of the ride takes us up Ballard Canyon (photo) past a number of picturesque vineyards. You may have seen a bottle of wine or two from this area around town, such as Stolpman and Rusack.
Once back in Los Olivos, we suspect most of you will call it a day and start sniffing around for lunch or perhaps do some tastings. However, if you want to clock a few more miles and get some extra Strava kudos, one option is to head north on Figueroa Mountain Road for 10 additional miles out & back to the Neverland Ranch entrance.
The route is ~19 miles (excluding Neverland) with ~1000 feet of climbing. Riders of all experience levels on any type of bike are welcome, and we’ll stop several times to regroup. Please ensure you are confident navigating urban traffic. We also highly recommend downloading the route beforehand so you’re prepared to navigate independently if needed.
Please share photos from the event in the Cycling Photo Album afterwards. If you'd like to join our email list, please request to join the group here.
When: Sunday May 31th at 9.00 am
Start/End - Liquid Farm Tasting Room (in the heart of Los Olivos)
