Moving to Santa Barbara is exciting — but finding your people takes time. We bring new residents together for shared adventures, great conversations and a vibrant calendar of activities to help you feel at home fast.

Welcome to Santa Barbara!

We believe community grows through shared experiences — laughter, adventure, good conversation and exploring everything this beautiful city has to offer. Santa Barbara Newcomers is open to residents of the Santa Barbara area who have moved here in the last 18 months and who plan to live here at least six months a year. Membership lasts for two or three years, giving you plenty of time to build lifelong friendships.

With 50+ activities every month, you'll enjoy:
