San Antonio Creek Trail
This trail starts from the parking lot at the back end of Tucker’s Grove Park, and winds along the creek with boulders, passing through a well-shaded forest, ending at Hwy. 154. Be prepared for several creek crossings and getting your feet wet in the winter. To skip the first stream crossing, begin the trail near the dog park at the far end of the park. Easy, mostly flat with a gentle incline, though it features uneven dirt, roots, boulders, and seasonal creek crossings. This is an out and back hike with opportunities to turn back anytime for a shorter hike. Hiking poles are recommended for the creek crossings.
Please note for our dog friends- * leash rules apply*, but there is an off leash dog park at the beginning/end of the trail.
Hiking distance-3.3 mi. Round trip, 298 ft. elevation gain, about 1-1.5 mi. Short and shady!
