Time for another Newcomer Ride! 

We would love to have as many SBNC members join us as we enter into this holiday season and want an excuse to feel we are ready to eat turkey!  What a better way than a bike ride the weekend before the big day.

The SBNC cycling group typically has 12-25 riders join every other Saturday and ride starting points and distances vary.  

e-bikes are welcome and you don't have to be an expert rider.  Just someone that wants to get in 20-30 miles and maybe a hill or two.  These are always "no-drop" rides, which means we stop along the way and make sure no one gets lost or needs help.  

At the beginning of each ride, we congregate and talk about the route, basic road safety, and do introductions.  We leave promptly at the starting time, so come early enough to be ready and loosen up. Usually a group stays for coffee too following the ride.

Location: Java Station (4447 Hollister Ave)

This week's adventure starts at Java Station on Hollister. The route will follow the Obern trail through UCSB. Continue on past Costco to Sandpiper Golf Course. Cross over the 101 and take Cathedral Oaks to the Marie Ygnatio Trail. Then back to the Obern trail and finish at Java Station.
