Come take a scenic urban stroll with us on a sunny Saturday afternoon along the historic West Beach. We will view areas of interest to both Chumash and Santa Barbara history, taking in the sights along the waterfront to the marina, which has its own maritime economy. We will return for refreshments at the Santa Barbara Winery, Santa Barbara County's oldest winery founded in 1962. Parking for the event will be at the municipal parking lot at 11 Garden Street. This is Santa Barbara's finest municipal parking lot, located by the fabulous Funk Zone. Parking is $3 an hour prepaid at the kiosk. Look for the Newcomers' sign by the pavilion at the corner of Garden and Cabrillo. Stay thirsty, my friends!
