Back by popular demand, our lower Montecito Walk was our most requested amble. This scenic 2-mile stroll begins at Renaud's Patisserie and Bistro at 1187 Coast Village Rd. We walk under the 101 in a pedestrian tunnel down toward the beach. We will skirt the western edge of the Music Academy of the West with a photo opportunity in the garden, then on to the nearby neighborhood. We take a left around the Ty Warner Estate, then down Channel Drive parallelling the beautiful Butterfly Beach area. We will view the Four Seasons Resort/Biltmore Santa Barbara and the famous Coral Casino Beach and Cabana Club. We then turn north on Olive Mill Rd. which takes us back to Coast Village Rd. where we started from. We tour the businesses on the strip and end up back at Renaud's for conversation, tea and crumpets on the deck if anyone desires after the walk. This is a level, paved, easy 2-mile amble that will take about 90 minutes stopping for photos and historical footnotes.

This one is dog friendly for your well socialized K9 companions on a 6' leash. 40% of this walk will be in full sun, so we walk at 9 am to minimize UV exposure. Meet up at the NEWCOMERS red and white sign in front of Renaud's. we will do nametags and introductions there. Park on the strip (if available) or park down below Renaud's in the parking lot or on the street.
