"Several" Stream Crossings

No Hike if it is Raining

Stevens Park to Moreno Ranch – 9:00am. This hike begins in Stevens Park located in the San Roque neighborhood of Santa Barbara and winds through a part of the urban wildlands for a while and then connects with the Jesusita Trail which we will take to the Moreno Ranch.  Many of you are familiar with the second half of this hike, but may have not seen the first half from Stevens Park.  This is an out and back hike so you can turn around anytime.  It is a moderate hike and should take about an hour each way.  At the end of our hike, we can get a coffee together.

Please bring plenty of water. 

Distance: ~3.75 miles round trip.

Elevation gain: ~750 feet.

Hiking Time~2 hours

Out and back hike, turn around anytime.

DIRECTIONS:  Exit 101 at Las Positas and turn toward the mountains. Crossing State St., Las Positas becomes San Roque. Continue on San Roque to a left on Calle Fresno then a right on Canon.  The Park is on the right.  Park anywhere, but we will meet in the area near the restrooms. Dogs are welcome on this hike.
