Enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of this amazing place as we walk to Campus Point and then clockwise around the UCSB Lagoon.  We’ll be on wide trails, and can detour to smaller trails and walk on the beach for a section.  Dunes, ocean views, surfers, and many, many birds are among the features of this enchanting place.  After the walk, we plan to enjoy coffee and treats at a coffee shop in Goleta.

Dogs on leash are welcome.  This is a 3-mile trail that can easily be cut shorter.

There's no need to register; just show up.  Bring water and sunblock.  Heavy rain would cancel.

Directions:   We will meet at Goleta Beach Park, 5986 Sandspit Rd., Goleta.  Turn right upon entering Goleta Beach Park and drive until you see the Newcomers sign.
