DON’T MISS! Opening night of Newcomer Kathy Leader’s dynamic exhibit - “Home/e-age to Earth” at the CAW! Kathy's solo show will include a series of mixed media & collage artworks that pay homage to our earth.

Kathy hails from Cape Town, South Africa where she received her fine art degree at the Michaelis School of Art, U. of Cape Town, and her masters in art education before moving to Los Angeles in 1985.

Since 2021 Santa Barbara has been her home, which reminds her a great deal of her Cape Town home.

“My work has always been deeply affected by the natural environment. Recently, I have been concerned with memories of past landscapes with a sense of deep longing, and the environment’s struggle to survive."
