Hope Ranch Hike

No hike if raining. 

 

Hope Ranch Hike – 8:30am.   We will begin with a hike up Sea Ranch Rd with views of the Channel Islands until we reach the top of Campanil hill. We will then turn left onto Campanil Dr and continue to wend our way onto Cuervo Ave. At this point we have views of Los Padres and the surrounding oak forest. We will proceed onto Cresta Ave and finally to Mariposa and back to Marina Dr.

The hike is about 4.2 miles and goes up and down throughout the Hope Ranch with magnificent views of homes, islands, ocean, and mountains.  The hike should take approximately 2 hours.  The elevation change is ~ 400 feet.

DIRECTIONS.  Drive up Cliff Drive from Hendry's Beach, turn right on Marina Drive and pass through the Hope Ranch Arch. You will see Sea Ranch Dr on your left. Park on Marina Drive near Sea Ranch. We will begin our hike at that intersection.  There is ample street parking in the neighborhood.
