Montecito Ennisbrook Trail

No hike if it is raining. 

This is a Friday 8:30am meetup – no need to register.

This sweet trail in central Montecito runs up lower San Ysidro Canyon by the Ennisbrook development and runs from San Leandro Rd. all the way up to E. Valley Rd.  We will see beautiful stone bridges, a "whispering" tree and a house on the move.  The trail is dog-friendly and only about 2 miles total.  Because it is shorter than our regular hikes, we can stop at Pierre LaFond for coffee and croissants in the park afterward if you wish.  Below is a link to the directions to the trailhead and a description of the trail.

Directions: From the north (Santa Barbara), take the 101 Freeway southeast to exit 93 for San Ysidro Road. Turn left and the end of the offramp, cross over the 101 Freeway and turn right on Jameson Lane. Drive 0.3 miles and turn left on Hixon Road. After 0.2 miles continue straight on San Leonardo Lane. Go another tenth of a mile and turn right to stay on San Leandro Lane. Drive another 0.3 miles to the trailhead, which will be on the left. There is roadside parking outside the white picket fence next to the trail sign.
