Now…we all know about the downtown “1st Thursday Art Walk”, which we love..right?  But why limit ourselves when it comes to art viewing? Let’s streeeetch a little.

On Nov. 17th, you can cruise “uptown” and view a collective of cool art galleries in the La Cumbre Plaza (off Upper State St. behind Macy’s), which stays open late for art enthusiasts like YOU!

The La Cumbre Center for Creative Arts include: Elevate Gallery, Fine Gallery and Illuminations Gallery. The VOICE Gallery is also located there and well worth a visit.

Grab a glass of wine and some nibbles and start strolling.  A number of Newcomers have displayed their work there, including Eric Saint Georges, Kathy Leader and Brian Kuhlmann - to name a few.

Join up with other SB Newcomer art lovers and feed your soul, then…feed your body at the restaurant of your choice nearby (off the State Street strip) - from “Lure Fish House & Oyster Bar” to “Via Maestra 42” to the classic, local haunt - “Tee-Off Restaurant and Lounge” where the banquettes are leather, the theme is golf, the steaks are thick and the 50’s cocktails “are stiff but the people aren’t!”
