Calling all knitting enthusiasts!  How many of you used to have a regular knitting group you would join at your LYS (local yarn shop) to sit and chat, needles in hand, or you required some assistance with that tricky YO, SSK, Kbl progression?  Maybe you had a a peer group who would open their houses to the group in a rotation and you gathered to admire others' projects?  How many of you did Zoom KAL's during the pandemic? [I'm raising my hand in response to all questions!]

Let's see if there's sufficient interest among Newcomers to persuade the generous and talented Tim Cardy of Santa Barbara's Cardigans (who doesn't need to be persuaded -- he's already agreed!) to host us in the shop to gather periodically and work on our own projects, or maybe to plan a KAL for us all to work on! Registration form asks you to tell me your experience level with knitting to help inform the discussion.  Don't worry -- there won't be a quiz to test your competency level!!

Bring pattern ideas, if you like, but definitely bring a beach chair and a refreshment to the park across from the Mission (near the Rose Garden), look for the red Newcomers Sign and let's see what we can plan! Fall knitting and holiday knitting needs will be here before you know it!
