West Fork Cold Springs Trail from Gibraltar Road  From the trailhead at Gibraltar Road, we  hike down the west fork of Cold Springs trail to the confluence of West and East Cold Springs.   The total distance is close to 5 miles, taking about one hour each way; This is an in and out hike; hikers can turn around at any point.The trail is mostly exposed; much of it burned in recent fires.  Roughly 1000 ft. descent and return elevation with terrific views.
