Buena Vista Trail: Reconstruction and great views– 8:30 AM.  

We're going to checkout the work of volunteers on the "Buena Vista connector 2".  It is amazing what 2-4 volunteers (including Bo!) did in 5 days.   Trails we will take are in good condition.

We will start at the San Ysidro trailhead on Park Lane. We'll take the San Ysidro trail briefly north, east up the Edison catway (great view at the top), continuing east into the canyon on the Buena Vista connector, the site of reconstruction work.  We will reverse our path to return.  ~2 miles each way, ~950 ft total vertical climb, ~2+ hours.    You might like a pole for returning downhill on the catway.
