Social Hiking At a Relaxed Pace (S.H.A.R.P.)

The trail begins in at the far end of Tucker's Grove, a popular picnic spot on the weekend. It wanders along, following San Antonio Creek through meadows and a mixed forest of oaks, sycamores, and bay laurels until the trail finally ends beneath highway 154. It's shaded most of the way. 

This is a very pleasant walking trail with only about 300 ft. elevation gain in approximately 2 miles. Total walking time is 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

Directions: Exit Hwy. 101 at Turnpike Rd. heading north towards the mountains. At Cathedral Oaks Rd., drive straight through the intersection, entering Tucker's Grove. Turn right, and drive to the furthest parking area (0.3 miles).

On-leash dogs welcome.
