Newcomer Restaurant: Brunoise
Epicurious explores all things food and wine. This fall we’re adding new series to complement our traditional focus on exploring new cuisines and favorite dishes. This is the first in our “Newcomer Restaurant” dinner series. Each event will feature a fixed-price, multi-course dinner with a welcoming glass of champagne and optional wine pairings.
Our first event features Brunoise, a July rebirth of sorts for chef Justin West. Justin was formerly chef at Julienne, one of the most highly regarded restaurants in Santa Barbara, which closed in 2016. Two nights a week, Justin features a new farm-to-table menu each week (and one he has customized for our event). We'll enjoy a four-course meal, with a choice of appetizers, a second course of soup. salad, or fresh lentils, a choice of beef, seafood and vegetarian entree and two dessert selections. Optional wines paired with each course are from from the Santa Barbara area as well as the Loire valley of France. Tax and tip are included.
