Social Hiking At a Relaxed Pace (S.H.A.R.P.)

The Ennisbrook Trail meanders through a 44-acre nature preserve located at the base of mountains in the heart of Montecito, featuring old stone bridges and oak, olive, sycamore and eucalyptus groves where monarch butterflies gather during their annual migration.

No need to register. Just show up. Downpour cancels, but we’ll go ahead in light rain. Bring water and sunblock.

Dogs on leash are welcome.

After the hike, join us for coffee.

Directions: From Santa Barbara, take 101 South to the San Ysidro Road exit.  Drive one block north to San Leandro Lane and turn right.  Continue 0.7 miles to the parking pullout on the left near the trailhead sign and white picket fence.  (San Leandro Lane jogs left and then right again.  The street signs are easy to see, but if you miss the first turn and find yourself on Jaracanda Lane, turn around and make a right onto San Leandro.  If you miss the miss the second turn and find yourself on Santa Rosa Lane, turn around and make a left onto San Leandro.)
