       Flying Solo is a new committee for networking among Newcomers who live alone, or often go out alone. 

"Mayday" is both a celebration and a cry for help  - - like when things need fixing, replacing, or beautifying. . Even if you rent, you still hang pictures and deal with home professionals.  Expert builder Dennis Kistler will answer our questions on things house-maintenance related. Before retiring to SB, Dennis grew a one-person repair business into a prestigious large construction company, building and maintaining high-end homes back east. Besides questions, bring your own ideas for doing maintenance tasks with only two hands. (let's have a contest for best one) 

We'll also have plenty of time for socializing over wine and snacks.

The event will take place in another Newcomer's beautiful home in Carpinteria.
