Out with the Old and In with the New!

Let's meet at the beach at Fernald Point in Montecito (accessed at the end of Posilipo Lane) with a thought of something you want to "put to rest", as well as a new wish in mind for the new year. 

We'll build a sandcastle together, and when it's done, at the dedication ceremony, everyone will  gather around our creation, and those who wish to share, can take turns saying what you're putting to rest and what your new wish is. (No pieces of paper- no littering).

Then, after our informal ceremony, whoever wants to, can stay on to watch the tide wash away our Castle of Dreams. 

Dress warmly, and optionally, bring rubber boots, shovels, buckets, a sack of supper and something warm to drink, as well as your own beach chair or blanket.

Out with the old and in with the new!
