Get into the Holiday spirit early.  Join us for the Ojai Holiday Home Tour, Marketplace and harvest-themed lunch on Saturday, November 12, 2016.   Presented by the Ojai Festival’s Women’s Committee, the tour consists of four homes of architectural distinction and is offered to the Santa Barbara Newcomers Club at a 50% discount.   One, built for Loretta Young, is a mid-century gem, while another modeled after a Swiss hunting lodge belonged to Edward Libbey, the founder of the Libbey Glass Co.

But the fun doesn’t stop there.  A Holiday Marketplace, at Matilija Junior High School Gymnasium, featuring a collection of curated items from 40 vendors is all about shopping for those on Santa’s list.

Plus, a walking guide of historic downtown Ojai will lead you to Knead Baking Company, our destination for lunch. Knead is a family run, artisan bakery located in a former gas station at 469 East Ojai Avenue.

Lunch choice 1 - Quiche; bacon, gruyere and chive quiche in a semolina crust served with farm fresh greens

Lunch choice 2 - Flatbread; thin crust topped with potato, rosemary and fontina cheese served with farm fresh greens

.Lunch choice 3 - Harvest Salad; with nuts, cheese, roasted root vegetables and red quinoa

Lunch will include a choice of cold drink, and hand crafted dessert. Beer, wine and hot beverages will be available for purchase.

According to TripAdvisor, Knead is the number 1 bakery in Ojai, yet it offers limited seating.  Therefore, we will have two lunch shifts, one at 12:30, the other at 1:30. 

If you would like to carpool, as we suggest, please indicate that on the registration form. 

Please arrive by 9:45 am at Matilija Junior High School, 703 El Paseo Road, where you will receive vouchers for the tour and lunch and a walking guide of historic downtown Ojai.

Price for tour and lunch:  $45    Limit:  60 attendees for tour and lunch.
