Pop Up: Nature Walkers When 30 April 2016 9:00 AM Where Entrance to Ennisbrook Trail No walk if it is raining. No need to register – just show up. Bring water and sunblock. Enjoy the shady oaks and stone bridges of Ennisbrook Trail, one of Montecito’s gems. Join us for an easy 1.5 mile walk through forest and alongside stately homes. No picnic tables at the end, so do the Newcomers thing and invite some of your fellow walkers out for coffee when we return. No elevation gain. No rough terrain. No rush. Just nature, fun and conversation. Leashed dogs welcome. Directions: To get to the trailhead from Santa Barbara, take Highway 101 south and exit at Sheffield Drive (exit #92; Sheffield is a LEFT LANE EXIT coming from Santa Barbara). Continue under the freeway and turn right onto Jameson Lane, and then continue towards the left onto Sheffield Drive; and then left again onto San Leandro Lane. The Ennisbrook trailhead is about .6 miles on the right hand side along San Leandro Lane, just past Crane Country Day School. At the trailhead there is a white picket fence in front of small green Montecito Water District Building. Park along the road. Questions? Contact Deborah Rogers at theredroom@mac.com.
