Afternoon Book Club meets on the first Wednesday of the month, usually from 1 to 3 pm to discuss a book selected from a variety of literature genres.

Our next meeting will be on February 3rd at 1 pm to discuss the book, THE PLACES IN BETWEEN, written by Rory Stewart.

Description: The author describes his walk across Afghanistan in 2002 immediately after the fall of the Taliban.  You will learn why the country has proved to be the "graveyard of empires."  The title fails to convey how compelling his adventures are.   A fascinating look into the culture and daily life of Afghanis.
