Join us for an educational tour through an historic downtown district.  Led by Betsy J. Green, author of Way Back When:  Santa Barbara in 1914 and a regular contributor to edhat.com, this 90-minute walk focuses on pre-earthquake buildings including the historic de la Guerra adobe, El Paseo and the Meridian Studios.  Celebrate with us the cultural heritage left by the first Spanish and Mexican settlers and giants in Southern California architecture including George Washington Smith and Julia Morgan.  After the walk, continue with us for a no-host lunch at C’est Cheese where we will continue the conversation with Betsy.  Wear comfortable shoes.  Meet at 11 am on the City Hall steps at the de la Guerra Plaza. If you have any questions, please contact Shelley Hurst at 650 796 3491.
