Join the Epicurious Committee for our first event of the season on Sunday, February 22 as we venture to one of Santa Barbara’s most historic eateries, the Cold Spring Tavern. The Tavern began as a stagecoach stop in 1886 and is today a fun place folks go for food, drink, music and camaraderie. The tri-tip sandwiches are legendary but the menu has many other choices. You pay for your own food and drink.

Newcomers will meet at 12:30 (look for the red/white Newcomers sign) where we will sit outside at communal picnic tables. Each person will be responsible for the cost of his or her food and drink. It can be chilly outside here so bring layers. You can also bring your own chairs if you prefer. The music of Tom Ball and Kenny Sultan will begin at 1:15PM.

Directions: Take Hwy 101 to Hwy 154, go up the mountain to the top, then, one mile down the valley side, turn left onto Stagecoach Road. Take a direct right and go down the canyon for about 1 1/2 miles tothe Tavern. Parking is available on the road.
