Oh-la-la! C'est presque printemps à Paris, et c'est toujours printemps à Santa Barbara! (It's almost springtime in Paris, and it's always spring in Santa Barbara!), time for some hearty French country fare or for some exquisite Parisian dishes. Perhaps you would like to make a savory stew, hors d'oeuvres, a cheese course, or some dessert crepes. It's your chance to show what you can do and wow your fellow guests and hosts.

This Dining In event will take place on Saturday, February 7, 2015 from 6:00-9:00pm. Note - this is also the Closing Night event at the SB Film Festival. We draw your attention to this, in case you're booked already for the SBFF. 

Dining In is a great way to meet people in an intimate 6-8 person setting in a host's home. Each guest or guest couple prepares and brings one of the courses. You can register using the Register button on this page. 

About a week before the event, you will be contacted and given your assignment, which might be something like "We would like you to be responsible for the appetizer". The choice of appetizer would be entirely up to you, keeping in mind this month's French theme. You will also be given directions to the host home. Guests are responsible for bringing any drinks they want for themselves or to share.

Dining In is a very popular program, so we are always looking for host homes. Past Dining In hosts have exclaimed how much they enjoyed the experience. If you would like to consider hosting an event at your home, please call or text the Dining In Chair, Geoff, at 805-708-1765.

If you are unable to register because the event is full, please ask to be wait listed. Just send an email to the Chair (see below) with the subject "Wait List Request." In your email include how many people are in your group (max 2) and a telephone number where you can be reached.
