Únase a nosotros para una visita guiada de una hora al Museo Histórico de Santa Bárbara seguida de una recepción de vino y queso en el patio. Nuestro guía hablará principalmente español y hablará inglés cuando sea necesario para la aclaración. El recorrido será a través de la galería principal, La historia de Santa Bárbara, que narra la historia del área de Santa Bárbara comenzando con el Chumash, hasta el siglo 20. Haremos breves paradas en las exposiciones más recientes; Take a Hike, Save the World, resaltando las rutas de senderismo más populares a través del arte y la foto, y; Project Fiesta!, una historia de la Fiesta de los Días Españoles Antiguos. Los invitados deberán mostrar un comprobante de vacunación a uno de nuestros copresidentes del comité antes de registrarse.

Join us for a 1-hour guided tour of the Santa Barbara Historical Museum followed by a wine & cheese reception in the courtyard. Our guide will be mostly speaking Spanish, and will speak English where clarification is needed. The tour will be through the main gallery, The Story of Santa Barbara, which chronicles the history of the Santa Barbara area beginning with the Chumash, all the way to the 20th century. We will make brief stops in the newest exhibitions; Take a Hike, Save The World, highlighting popular hiking trails through fine art and photo, and; Project Fiesta!, a history of Old Spanish Days Fiesta.

Guests (Non-Newcomer Members) will be allowed to register once Newcomer Members have had a chance to register. Guests will be required to show proof of vaccination to one of our committee co-chairs prior to registration.
