Chamber Music Makers

Registration is closed

By "chamber music," we mean European-tradition art music, played by amateurs, where each player is responsible for their own part. This comprises an enormous repertory of beautiful music that's great fun to play: all we need are partners on the other parts. Aspirationally, our committee is a matchmaking service for people who enjoy playing chamber music, but need to find musical partners, being new to town. We are not performance oriented: the joy here is in playing and experiencing the repertory for ourselves.

Our past sessions have included songs by Brahms and Schubert, arias by Bach and Handel, sonatas by Beethoven, and the Bolling flute jazz suite.

Please blow the dust off of that violin or whatever and join us. We meet weekly at a private home; the address will be given to you once you register to attend. Don’t be concerned if it looks like “no one” is attending. Unlike most newcomer events, you only need to register once to attend the weekly events. The event is happening! Questions?
