  • Young Professionals (Old)

The Young Professionals is a very active committee, hosting 4-8 activities each month geared toward members who work hard and play hard. We concentrate on free, pay-as-you-go, and potluck-style events that happen on weeknights or weekends to fit most working professionals’ schedules. We’ll also get groups together to join in on many of the events hosted by other Newcomer committees

Types of events include:
  • Happy hours at least once a month
  • Walking on the beach
  • Hiking trails from Gaviota to Montecito
  • Sunday Fundays at area hot spots
  • Exploring State Street or the Funk Zone
  • Day trips to Carpinteria
  • Escape rooms and bowling
  • Weekend beach days with games
  • Paddle boarding or kayaking
  • Game nights and Trivia
  • Volunteer opportunities

Looking for something else? We take requests, or you can volunteer to plan an event!
