Registration

Everyone Welcome... Runners, Run/Walkers, and Walkers!

We meet every Saturday at 8am to run, jog, or walk together and then go for breakfast!

The routes we take allow you to go as far or as short a distance as you wish. We typically run out and back (for about an hour or so)... some go 4 miles, others 6 or 7 miles, and some go even farther since they're training for full or half marathons.

We typically meet at Stearns Wharf by the restrooms near the Dolphin Fountain.  Look for the BRIGHT PINK hat! Park on Anacapa Street and walk to the wharf.  Breakfast afterwards at Lucky Penny, 127 Anacapa St!

If you are joining SB Striders for the first time, please email us (sbstriders@sbnewcomers.org) so we don't leave you behind if you arrive late.

We vary the starting locations and routes, so please remember to check the Newcomers calendar, the Santa Barbara Striders Facebook page, and/or Meetup for details.

Our core group typically includes someone from each of these paces...

  •  9-10 min/mile runners (Phil, Janice, Tony, Richard, Andy, Alex)
  •  11-12 min/mi runners (Leslie, Greg)
  •  +13 min/mi joggers or walkers (Lisa, Heather, David, Susan, Gillian)
