AND NOW FOR SOMETHING

COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!

So it's another Tuesday night in May and maybe you're thinking you'll stay home and watch another rerun of Law and Order.  YAWWNNN.  Instead why not come out to the retro-chic watering hole known as the Good Bar* and see what all the buzz is about (see disclaimers below).

That's right, after successful stops at Villa Wine Bar, Montecito Wine Bar and The Hyatt, Cheers! is traveling up the PCH to the Goodland Hotel, located right on Calle Real, which of course is Spanish for Royal Road or, as I like to call it, the Street of Kings.  For those of you who have not been adventurous enough to check it out, the Goodland was taken over by Kimpton a couple of years back and turned into a "surf lodge meets under-the-radar chic boutique" (that's a quote from the website so it must be true).  Hey it even has a pool table.  But for our purposes it is a great venue with good food and drink, and The Goodland Cheers! will be a can't miss Newcomers' event.
