Historic Chumash Cultural Festival - Local Heritage

   Historic Chumash Cultural Festival

 

 

Receive an introduction to Santa Ynez Chumash culture during this historic event!  Activities feature California Native American Dance performances, craft booths, food booths and a Native California singing contest.  This event is open to the public so no need to register ahead.  Bring friends and family!  Participate in as many activities as you would like throughout the afternoon.  

 

Meet in the parking lot  on 100 Via Juana Lane in Santa Ynez at 11:15am to see opening blessing of festival. Watch for Red Newcomer sign in parking area.

Directions:  From Santa Barbara, Suggest take 154 over the pass for @ 28 miles to the round-a-bout near San Ynez, go ¾ around the round-a bout to 246.  Go @2miles to Via Juana Rd., and take a left.  Follow the winding street to 100 Via Juana Lane.
